Society of the Byelorussians in Visaginas
Date of creation: 1994.
Purposes and tasks:
- Developing national culture of the Byelorussians living in Visaginas,
- Studying the Byelorussian history, language, cultural and national traditions,
- Studying and supporting historical and cultural communications of the Byelorussians and Lithuanians,
- Organizing cultural events.
Kinds of activity:
- Teaching the Byelorussian language, history, culture of the Byelorussian people to the children of the members of the society at Sunday school,
- The musical chorus's participation in the town and country activities.
