Visaginas coordination council for NGO
Date of creation: 1999.
Purposes and tasks:
- Uniting public organizations in the town;
- Coordinating the activity of Visaginas NGÎ;
- Keeping communication with NGÎ of the republic;
- Organizing training for the members of NGÎ;
- Organizing the system of informing within NGÎ.
Kinds of activity:
- Giving information about changes in the laws regulating life and activity of NGÎ in Lithuania,
- Information about activities;
- Rendering assistance (organizational and technical) to holding seminars,
- Providing office equipment service for NGÎ in Visaginas,
- Holding meetings and seminars,
- Participation in the work of PCVD.
