Fund’s mission is to improve life of Visaginas community
- Consolidate local community for philantrophy activities involving business and non-governmental sectors;
- Provide support to Visaginas projects and programs considering a change of community needs;
- Implement philantrophy activities of donors.
Principles:
Philanthropy.
The fund, having accumulated donations of founders and sponsors, allocates resources for supporting projects and programs that are socially significant for Visaginas on a competitive basis, voluntary, and without indemnity.
Transparency.
The fund holds its activity on the basis of open and clear procedures, as well as a competitive principle of funds distribution.
Activity on priorities of local community.
The fund takes into consideration changing needs of the community, concentrating on solving top-priority problems.
Stability.
The presence and inviolability of the capital allows the fund to plan its work on a long-term basis and to conduct a competent policy on attracting additional funds from charitable foundations.
Independence.
The fund is a separate juridical person created with charitable purposes and independent from the influence of any person, organization or political power.
